  • How many pods do I need?

    During your professional install, our installer will work with you to determine how many pods will be needed to support the services in your home as well as give you optimal coverage. This will be determined by the square footage and construction of your home as well as the number of devices you will be using.

  • What devices can I connect to Blue Stream Managed WiFi, Powered by Plume®?

    Any of your WiFi enabled devices can connect to Blue Stream Managed WiFi, Powered by Plume®.

  • Can My pod be moved to a different location following installation?

    When pods are placed during installation, they are placed strategically in appropriate locations to ensure optimal connection. Moving your pods following installation can cause an imbalance in the coverage and impact speeds.

  • Will placing my pods near metallic objects impact my connection?

    Avoid metal or other reflective objects in between your pods, such as large mirrors. Similarly to how mirrors reflect light, they also reflect WiFi signal, decreasing signal strength. Additionally, devices like baby monitors and cordless phones often share the same frequency as your WiFi networks, creating additional interference when placed too close together.

  • What should I keep in mind when moving furniture in the future?

    Dense padding and framing in furniture can inhibit your WiFi performance. Try placing your pod in front of these items as opposed to behind them for optimal performance. This is followed during installation, but it is important to keep in mind when moving furniture in the future.
